Buenos Aires, December 1 (NA) — Seven men and five women were treated for smoke inhalation in a fire that broke out on the 17th floor of a building in the Buenos Aires neighborhood of Colegiales, according to police sources reported to the Argentine News Agency.

The blaze was registered in a bedroom of the property located at Delgado 826, between Palpa and Céspedes, where City firefighters were in charge of extinguishing the flames and searching for possible victims.

The firefighters attacked the fire with a 38-millimeter line, in a 2 by 4 and 2.80-meter environment, while ventilating the area and some people self-evacuated.

SAME provided oxygen assistance to 12 neighbors, seven men and five women; the fire was brought under control.
